Introduction About ADMOL 250 SYRUP
Admol 250 Suspension is an analgesic used in children to relieve mild to moderate pain, symptoms of cold and flu, and to help reduce a fever (high temperature). It contains paracetamol as an active ingredient that helps relieve pain and lower body temperature.
Paracetamol exhibits pain-relieving action by peripheral blockage of pain impulse generation. It lowers body temperature by inhibiting the hypothalamic heat-regulating center. Its weak anti-inflammatory activity is related to inhibition of synthesis of prostaglandin (chemicals responsible for inducing pain and inflammation) in the CNS.
Always take Admol 250 Suspension as advised by the physician. Do not take it with other paracetamol-containing products. Before taking Admol 250 Suspension, inform your doctor if you have any kidney or liver problems, alcohol dependence, Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, or if you are dehydrated or malnourished.
