Before handling contact lenses, wash and dry your hands thoroughly. Place the lens on the tip of your index finger and ensure it is not inside-out by checking the "1-2-3" indicator. Hold your upper eyelid open with one hand and your lower eyelid down with the other. Look straight ahead and gently place the lens on your eye. Blink a few times to allow the lens to settle. To remove, look up, slide the lens down to the white part of your eye with your index finger, and gently pinch it off.
