Description
Acuvue 1 Day Moist are daily disposable contact lenses designed for convenience and to provide moisture for the eyes. Featuring LACREON® Technology, these lenses have a wetting agent built in that mimics natural tears to maintain a cushion of moisture. This may be beneficial for individuals who experience eye dryness or sensitivity. The lenses also incorporate Class 2 UV protection to help shield the eyes from a portion of UVA and UVB radiation.
LACREON® Technology: Embeds a moisture-rich wetting agent directly into the lens, creating a long-lasting moisture cushion for sustained comfort.
Daily Disposable Convenience: Wear a fresh pair of lenses every day, eliminating the need for daily cleaning, lens cases, or solutions.
UV Protection: Features Class 2 UV blocking to help protect the cornea and eye from harmful UVA and UVB radiation.
Visibility Tint and Inversion Indicator: The lenses have a light tint and a '123' indicator so you can easily spot them and ensure they are not inside out before application.
Comfort for Sensitive Eyes: The design aims to keep moisture in and irritation out, which may provide improved comfort for wearers with mild discomfort from allergies.
Q: How long can I wear a single pair of Acuvue 1 Day Moist lenses?
A: These are daily disposable lenses, which means you wear them for one day and then discard them before sleeping. A fresh pair should be used each day.
Q: What is the benefit of LACREON® Technology?
A: LACREON® Technology embeds a moisture-rich ingredient within the lens that mimics natural tears, providing sustained hydration and comfort throughout the day.
Q: Do these contact lenses offer protection from UV rays?
A: Yes, they offer Class 2 UV protection, which blocks approximately 97% of UVB and 82% of UVA rays. However, they are not a substitute for UV-absorbing eyewear like sunglasses, as they do not cover the entire eye area.
Q: Are these lenses a good option for individuals with dry or sensitive eyes?
A: Yes, due to the LACREON® technology and high water content (58%), these lenses are designed to maintain moisture and are considered a suitable option for people with dry or sensitive eyes.
Q: How should I handle and apply these lenses?
A: Always wash and dry your hands thoroughly before handling the lenses. Place the lens on the tip of your index finger, ensure it is not inside out, hold your eyelids open, and gently place the lens on your eye. It is advisable to consult your eye care professional for detailed instructions.
