Introduction About ACTON 120 SUSPENSION
Acton-120 Suspension is an antipyretic and analgesic suspension that is used in children to manage mild to moderate pain associated with common cold, influenza, backache, headache, earache, muscle pain, and sore throat.
It is also used to reduce fever, including post-vaccination fever. Acton-120 Suspension contains Paracetamol as an active ingredient that blocks the pain and fever-causing mechanism in the body.
Paracetamol works by inhibiting the production of a chemical called prostaglandins in the body which is responsible for causing pain and swelling in the body. It reduces fever by acting on an area of the brain that is responsible for regulating our body temperature called the hypothalamic heat-regulating center.
Always give Acton-120 Suspension to your child exactly as directed by the doctor. It is for oral use only. Do not exceed the daily recommended dosage.
Give three or four times a day every 4 to 6 hours or as suggested by the doctor. Do not give Acton-120 Suspension for more than 48 hours without the doctor’s advice.
