Introduction About ACISIL ORAL SUSPENSION
ACISIL ORAL SUSPENSION is a combination of Magaldrate and Simethicone, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antacids and Anti-flatulent agents, respectively. It is used for the management of heartburn (burning sensation in the chest due to stomach acid travelling up towards the throat), hyperacidity (excess acidity in the stomach), indigestion, flatulence (expulsion of gas out of the body's intestines via the anus), bloating (buildup of gas in the stomach and intestines), and sour stomach.
It is also used to manage esophagitis (inflammation of the lining of the esophagus) or gastritis (inflammation of the lining of the stomach), stomach or stress ulcers (open sores that develop on the lining of the stomach, which may also occur due to stress), and gastroesophageal reflux (a condition in which the stomach contents move up into the esophagus (food pipe).
Avoid alcohol and carbonated drinks and reduce intake of citrus fruit juices and caffeine to reduce acidity and gas problems. Also try to maintain a healthy diet plan with adequate sleep to get better results.
ACISIL ORAL SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in patients with high magnesium levels in blood, low phosphate levels in the blood, diarrhea, and severe liver or kidney impairment.
Before taking ACISIL ORAL SUSPENSION, inform your doctor if you have any kidney problems, appendicitis, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, bowel blockage, rectal bleeding of unknown cause, a magnesium-restricted diet, and if you have a surgical history of bowel surgery.
