Introduction About WOKADINE GARGLE
Wokadine 2% with Menthol Gargle is a germicide gargle used to manage infected and inflammatory conditions of the mouth and pharynx caused by bacterial or monilial infections. It includes pharyngitis, tonsillitis, aphthous ulcer, stomatitis, gingivitis, glossitis, pericoronitis and secondary infected traumatic or herpetic ulcers. It can also be used in dental surgery or oral operative procedures and as an oral prophylactic mouthwash. Workadine Gargle 2% contains Povidone-iodine as an active ingredient.
Povidone Iodine contains broad-spectrum activity against a wide variety of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, fungi, protozoa and yeast, and even spores and viruses. It exhibits unique, non-selective, rapid microbicidal activity and penetrates the cell wall of micro-organisms quickly and disrupts the protein and nucleic acid structure and synthesis, inhibiting vital bacterial cellular mechanisms and structures thus leading to its destruction.
Use Wokadine 2% with Menthol Gargle as advised by your physician. It is for oral use only, do not swallow the solution. Wokadine 2% with Menthol Gargle can be used undiluted or diluted with an equal amount of water. Gargle or rinse for at least 30 seconds four times a day or as advised. Do not store the diluted solution.
