Vizylac GG Sachet is a probiotic, used to prevent and treat diarrhoea, antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, diarrhea caused by rotavirus (in babies and children) and travellers’ diarrhoea. It is also used to relieve symptoms such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Also, it is used to treat colic in babies and atopic dermatitis in children.
Lactobacillus Rhamnosus is a probiotic, which enhances the immune response also serves as a source of macro- and micronutrients, contributes to enzymatic digestion, modifies toxin receptors, and prevents toxin-mediated disease. It also acts as an antibacterial which inhibits both gram-positive and gram-negative enteric bacteria. Additionally, prevents the colonization of harmful bacteria by competitively inhibiting microbial adhesion sites.
Always take Vizylac GG Sachet as advised by the physician. The contents of the sachet can be consumed directly or can be mixed with lukewarm water and consumed. When taking antibiotics, use Vizylac GG Sachet at least 2 hours before or after taking antibiotics. It should not be taken by patients with bowel perforation (hole in the intestine) or patients at risk of bowel perforation or severely immunocompromised individuals.
