Q: What is the use of Vizylac GG Sachet?
A: Vizylac GG Sachet is a probiotic, used to prevent and treat diarrhoea, antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, diarrhea caused by rotavirus (in babies and children) and travellers’ diarrhoea. It is also used to relieve symptoms such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Also, it is used to treat colic in babies and atopic dermatitis in children.
Q: How does Vizylac GG Sachet work?
A: Lactobacillus Rhamnosus is a probiotic, which enhances the immune response also serves as a source of macro- and micronutrients, contributes enzymatic digestion, modifies toxin receptors and prevents toxin-mediated disease. It also acts as an antibacterial which inhibits both gram-positive and gram-negative enteric bacteria. Additionally, prevents the colonization of harmful bacteria by competitively inhibiting microbial adhesion sites.
Q: How to use Vizylac GG Sachet?
A: The contents of the sachet can be consumed directly or can be mixed with 15 ml of lukewarm water and consumed. For children open the sachet and stir the contents into a cool drink or mix into baby food or applesauce.

A: Vizylac GG Sachet may cause flatulence and mild abdominal discomfort in some individuals. Consult your doctor if you notice any such effects while taking Vizylac GG Sachet.
Q: Who should use Vizylac GG Sachet with caution?
A: Vizylac GG Sachet should be taken with caution in patients with diarrhoea lasting for more than 2 days accompanied by fever, weakened immune system (because of chemotherapy or HIV infection), diabetes, phenylketonuria (PKU), short gut syndrome (a condition in which body is unable to absorb nutrients from food), recurring vaginal and urinary tract infection.
