Introduction About VISCO SYRUP
Visco Syrup is an Antacid, Anti-Reflux and Anti-flatulent used to relieve reflex esophagitis, heart burn and reflux associated with Gastro Oesophageal Reflux Disorder. It contains Sodium Alginate, Magnesium Hydroxide, Aluminium Hydroxide, and Simethicone as active ingredients.
Magnesium Hydroxide and Aluminium hydroxide are antacids works by neutralising acid in the stomach. Simethicone is an anti-gas agent works by breaking down gas bubbles in the stomach and intestine, thereby allowing the exit of the gas. Sodium alginate forms a gel like barrier over the stomach and manages the reflux of acid back into the food pipe.
Always use Visco Syrup as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only. Shake well before use. Take 1 to 2 teaspoonful 3 to 4 times a day after meals or as directed by the physician.
