UBIPHENE 100MG TABLET is a combination of Clomifene and Ubidecarenone which belongs to the group of medicines called Ovulation stimulants and Antioxidants respectively. It is used in the treatment of infertility in women (women are not ovulating properly).
The main symptom of infertility is the inability to get pregnant, a menstrual cycle that's too long (35 days or more), too short (less than 21 days), irregular or absent can mean you're not ovulating.
UBIPHENE 100MG TABLET is not recommended for use if you have or had liver disease, unusual menstrual bleeding with unknown cause, have a type of cancer that is worsened by hormones, a cyst on your ovary.
Before taking UBIPHENE 100MG TABLET inform your doctor if you are having early menopause, are infertile, stopped having periods because of underweight, had fits or seizures in the past, have fibroids in the womb, have polycystic ovaries, ovaries are swollen, have hypertriglyceridemia (an excess of fats in the blood).
UBIPHENE 100MG TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant women and inform your doctor before taking this medicine if you are breast-feeding a baby. It is not recommended for use in children and adolescents below 18 years of age.
The most common side effects of taking UBIPHENE 100MG TABLET are nausea, vomiting, blurred vision and pelvic pain. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.
UBIPHENE 100MG TABLET contains clomifene which acts by increasing the gonadotrophin hormones secreted by pituitary glands which in turn stimulates the maturation and endocrine activity of the ovarian follicle (stimulates the release of eggs from the ovary). Ubidecarenone protects the body from damage by chemicals that cause infertility.
Take UBIPHENE 100MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the right dose and duration depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
Stop taking UBIPHENE 100MG TABLET and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
Nausea and vomiting:
Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating oil rich, fried or spicy food. Consult your doctor if the symptom does not improve.
UBIPHENE 100MG TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant women or women planning to have a baby. Consult your doctor before taking UBIPHENE 100MG TABLET.
Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding before taking UBIPHENE 100MG TABLET as it can lower the amount of milk produced. Consult your doctor before taking it.
Do not drive or use machines while taking UBIPHENE 100MG TABLET as it may cause blurred vision.
UBIPHENE 100MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with liver disease or history of liver disease. Consult your doctor before taking it.
Do not take UBIPHENE 100MG TABLET if you are allergic to Clomifene or Ubidecarenone or any other ingredients of this medicine.

Overdosage:
If you or anyone else accidentally take too much of UBIPHENE 100MG TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Symptoms of overdose are over-stimulation of the ovary (pain in the pelvis, stomach or calves, feeling bloated, passing less urine, difficulty in breathing or an increase in weight).

Can I drive while taking UBIPHENE 100MG TABLET?
Do not drive or use machines while taking UBIPHENE 100MG TABLET as you may have problems with your eyesight causing blurred vision affecting your ability to drive or use machines. Consult your doctor before taking it.
