TOBA EYE DROPS contains Tobramycin which belongs to the group of antibiotics known as Antibiotics. It is used to treat bacterial infections of the external part of the eye, such as conjunctivitis and ear canal infections.
Bacterial conjunctivitis is the infection of the transparent membrane (conjunctiva) that lines the eyelid and covers the white part of your eyeball. Symptoms of bacterial conjunctivitis include pain, discomfort, redness, itching, irritation, and watering of the eyes. Ear canal infection is the bacterial infection of external ear, which is characterised by ear pain, redness and swelling around the ear canal, discharge of fluid or pus from ear.
Do not wear contact lens if you have any ocular infection while using TOBA EYE DROPS. Remove the contact lenses before using TOBA EYE DROPS and can put them back after 15 minutes of use.
TOBA EYE DROPS should be used with caution in patients who have ever had neuromuscular disorders, such as myasthenia gravis or Parkinson’s disease.
TOBA EYE DROPS should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding woman. Consult your doctor before using the medicine.
The safety and effectiveness of TOBA EYE DROPS in children under the age of 12 months has not been established. Consult your doctor before using the medicine.
The common side effects of using this medicine are swollen/itchiness in eyelids, eye irritation, redness of eyes, watery eyes. Consult your doctor if the symptom worsens or does not improve.

TOBA EYE DROPS effectively works against the disease-causing bacteria by binding irreversibly to one of two amino glycoside binding sites on the 30 S ribosomal subunit of bacteria thereby terminating the bacterial growth.
Always use TOBA EYE DROPS exactly as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Instill the medicine into the affected eye or ear 1 to 2 times a day or as directed by the physician. Your doctor will prescribe the right dose depends on your age, body weight and disease condition.
Stop using TOBA EYE DROPS and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:

If you or anyone else accidentally use too much of TOBA EYE DROPS, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. If accidentally occurs, wash your eyes or ear and rinse it all out with warm water.
