Introduction About TEMP DROPS
TEMP Drops belongs to antipyretics and analgesics used to relieve mild to moderate pain in conditions such as headache, tooth ache, muscle pain, sore throat, migraine, and musculoskeletal pain in children aged 0 to 2 years. It also used to manage mild to moderate pain and fever associated with vaccination. It contains Paracetamol as active ingredient.
Paracetamol works by inhibiting the production of a chemical called prostaglandins in the body, which are responsible for causing pain and swelling in the body. As a result, it reduces various pain. It also has a direct action on heat regulating centres in the brain, leading to peripheral vasodilation, sweating and loss of body temperature. Thus, it reduces fever.
Always give TEMP Drops as advised by your physician. It is for oral administration only. Shake well before use. It is for paediatric use. Recommended dosage is based on the age and weight of the child. Do not give TEMP Drops more than 4 doses in every 4 hours.
