Introduction About SEPTIDINE 5% SOLUTION
Septidine 5% Solution is an antiseptic solution used to protect your eyes from bacterial infections. It contains povidone-iodine as the active ingredient.
Povidone-Iodine is an antimicrobial agent. It rapidly penetrates the cell wall of the microorganisms and disrupts their cell structure, leading to cell death. Therefore, it manages the infection from spreading further and helps in faster healing.
Use Septidine 5% Solution as directed by your physician. It is for ophthalmic use only. Gently apply the desired amount of the solution around your eye, eyelids, cornea, eyebrows. Before using Septidine 5% Solution consult your doctor if you have thyroid problems or any other eye conditions as a precaution.
