Introduction About SENSODENT KF FOAMING DENTAL GEL
Sensodent KF Foaming Dental Gel is a medicated oral gel which is used to manage dentinal hypersensitivity, commonly known as tooth hypersensitivity (increased pain when a tooth comes in contact with hot, cold, sweet or acidic substances). It contains potassium nitrate and sodium monofluorophosphate as active ingredients that help enhance dental health.
Potassium nitrate reduces the dentinal sensitivity by accumulating potassium onto the tooth surface, which forms a layer that desensitizes a vast number of nerves inside the tooth, hence rendering them unresponsive to any outward environment.
Sodium monofluorophosphate achieves its anti caries action by strengthening the tooth enamel. It manages the enamel (topmost layer of tooth) from getting demineralized (degraded) along with ensuring the remineralization (improvement in structure) of the previously degraded teeth.
Always use Sensodent KF Foaming Dental Gel as advised by your dentist. It is only for dental usage and is not meant to be swallowed. Children below the age of 7 are not recommended to use this gel.
