Renoalfa Tablet is a nutritional supplement used for prevention and treatment of kidney damage in patients suffering from chronic kidney disease (CKD) with protein restricted diets. It contains alfa ketoanalogues of nine essential amino acids as active ingredients that delay the progression of CKD.
Alfa ketoanalogues work by allowing intake of essential amino acids and decreasing the amino-nitrogen intake. It also decreases urea formation, thus decreasing the accumulation of uraemic toxins and reducing the kidney damage.
Do not take Renoalfa Tablet if you have high blood calcium levels or disturbed amino acid metabolism. Inform your doctor if you have phenylketonuria (hereditary disorder in which amino acid phenylalanine is accumulated in body), liver impairment or kidney failure.
Consult your doctor if you experience any unusual side effects while taking Renoalfa Tablet.
