INTRODUCTION

POLARAMINE 2MG contains Dexchlorpheniramine which belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines. It is used to treat allergic conditions and relieves from allergic reactions such runny nose, sneezing, itching, redness, swelling, and watery eyes. Take it exactly as prescribed by your physician.

Dexchlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that blocks H1 receptors, thereby preventing the actions of histamine that are responsible for inflammation, congestion, itching, and other allergic reactions.

Before taking POLARAMINE 2MG inform your doctor if you have glaucoma, gastro-intestinal disorders, asthma, liver or kidney diseases. Pregnant or breastfeeding women consult your doctor before taking this medicine. The common side effect is sleepiness, in such case avoid driving or attention seeking activity. It is not recommended in children and adolescents below 12 years of age.
