Introduction About NICORETTE 4MG TABLET
NICORETTE 4MG TABLET is a smoking cessation aid used to quit smoking. It manages and relieves the withdrawal symptoms that occurs in people who wish to quit smoking. It also reduces the cravings for smoking when you try to reduce the number of cigarettes that you smoke in a day.
It contains nicotine as an active ingredient. Nicotine helps to quit smoking by replacing the deficient levels of nicotine in your body that happens when you attempt to quit smoking. As a result, it reduces the cravings for smoking and protects your body from the harmful effects of abusive substances (such as tobacco).
Take NICORETTE 4MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Before taking NICORETTE 4MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any heart, liver, or kidney diseases. You must also inform your doctor if you have diabetes, stomach problems, thyroid problems or fits before taking NICORETTE 4MG TABLET as a precaution.
Do not take NICORETTE 4MG TABLET if you are allergic to nicotine or if you are a child aged below 12 years. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding must try to quit smoking without using a nicotine replacement therapy. However, if it is not possible, NICORETTE 4MG TABLET can be used in such women to quit smoking after consulting their doctor.
The most common side effects of taking NICORETTE 4MG TABLET are ulceration of mouth, tongue or throat, hiccups, nausea, increased salivation, and stomach pain. Consult your doctor if any of these side effect worsens.
