  • NEXPRO RD contains domperidone and esomeprazole







What NEXPRO RD is used for?

It is used to treat:

  • Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease’ (GORD), a condition in which the acid from the stomach escapes into the gullet (the tube which connects your throat to your stomach) causing pain, inflammation and heartburn
  • Ulcers in the stomach or upper part of the gut (intestine)
  • Zollinger-Ellison syndrome

  • have a blockage in your intestines

  • ketoconazole, fluconazole or voriconazole used for fungal infections
  • phenytoin used to treat epilepsy
  • warfarin used to treat and prevent blood clots

  • amiodarone, quinidine disopyramide, sotalol, diltiazem used for heart problems or high blood pressure

  • cisapride, dolasetron, prucalopride used to treat gastro-intestinal disorders
  • mequitazine, mizolastine used to treat allergy

  • Swallow NEXPRO RD whole with a drink of water
  • Do not chew or crush this medicine

If you take more NEXPRO RD

  • If you have taken more NEXPRO RD, contact your doctor immediately

If you forget to take NEXPRO RD

  • If you miss a dose, take your medicine as soon as you remember
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose

If you stop taking  NEXPRO RD

  • Do not stop taking NEXPRO RD until your doctor advises you to do so

  • swelling of the hands, feet, ankles, face, lips or throat which may cause difficulty in swallowing or breathing, itchy, lumpy rash or nettle rash
