INTRODUCTION

NEXPRO IT is a combination of Esomeprazole and Itopride which belongs to the group of medicines called Proton pump inhibitors and Gastroprokinetic agents respectively. It is used to treat Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in patients who does not respond to esomeprazole alone.

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) occurs when stomach contents flow backwards and cause troublesome symptoms or complications like heartburn, excessive salivation, burping, and regurgitation. Though it is primarily a motility problem, acidity of gastric contents is the most important aggressive factor in causing symptoms and lesions in food-pipe.

Before taking NEXPRO IT, inform your doctor if you have severe kidney, liver or skin problems, osteoporosis, or about to have any blood tests. NEXPRO IT should be used with caution in pregnant women and it is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. This kind of action provides relief from the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
