What is NETALO EYE DROPS?
NETALO EYE DROPS contains Netarsudil which belongs to group of medicines known as Rho-kinase Inhibitor. It is indicated for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in adult patients with primary open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
What is the mechanism of NETALO EYE DROPS?
NETALO EYE DROPS is a rho kinase inhibitor, works by reducing IOP by increasing the outflow of aqueous humour (transparent fluid in eye which is important for maintaining pressure inside eye and nourishment of our natural lens) through relaxation of trabecular meshwork. Hence, reducing intraocular pressure.
Can I use NETALO EYE DROPS with other eye medications?
If you are using other eye medications as well then there must be at least 15 minutes gap between usage of both. Consult your doctor before using NETALO EYE DROPS with other medications.
Can I operate machinery or drive after using NETALO EYE DROPS?
No, as NETALO EYE DROPS may cause blurring of vision or decreased visual acuity which can affect your ability to drive and operate machinery.
Can I use contact lenses while using NETALO EYE DROPS?
Yes, but contact lenses should be removed before using NETALO EYE DROPS and should be reinserted only after 15 minutes of instillation.
How to use NETALO EYE DROPS?
Instil NETALO EYE DROPS into the affected eye as directed by your doctor. NETALO EYE DROPS is for ophthalmic use only. Do not inject or swallow the medicine. Wash your hands before using and avoid touching the nozzle/dropper while using the medicine as it may contaminate the medicine.
