MYOTOP DSR contains Tolperisone which is a centrally acting muscle relaxant. It has been used for symptomatic treatment of spasticity and muscle spasm. Effectively it reduces the muscular hypertonicity, improves peripheral blood flow by vasodilatation and reduces pain.
Always take this medicine as directed by physician. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of therapy depending upon your age, weight and condition. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. It is not recommended for the use in children and adolescents under 18 years. Do not take this medicine, if you suffer from Myasthenia gravis. MYOTOP DSR should be used with caution in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine. Tell your doctor, if you are taking or taken or might take any other medicines. The most common side effects include dizziness, sleepiness and tiredness.

Skin itching:
Avoid bath in hot water because hot water can irritate the skin. Moisturizers can be used regular basis to soothe and hydrate the affected area.
Diarrhea:
Drink lot of fluid, such as water or squash, to avoid dehydration. Do not take any other medicine without consulting your doctor.

MYOTOP DSR is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless necessary. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
Do not drive or operate any machinery while taking this medicine, it may make you feel dizziness, blurred vision.
Consumption of alcohol is not recommended during treatment with MYOTOP DSR.
MYOTOP DSR should be taken with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Consult your doctor for advice.
