INTRODUCTION
Mezol eye drops is decongestant that is used to reduce redness or puffiness of the eyes. It can be used to relieve itchy or watery eyes due to cold, allergies, or eye irritation that occurs due to smog, swimming, contact lenses, etc.
Mezol eye drops contains Naphazoline hydrochloride, Methylcellulose and Chlorpheniramine maleate as the active ingredients that lubricate the eye and provide relief from allergies.
Naphazoline hydrochloride acts as a vasoconstrictor that narrows the swollen blood vessels thus reducing the congestion and relieving the redness. Methylcellulose lubricates the eye to give relief from dry irritated eyes. Chlorpheniramine maleate has anti-allergic properties that give relief from itching, and watering of eyes due to allergy.
Always use Mezol eye drops as advised by the physician. It is for external use only. Do not exceed the stated daily dosage of these eye drops.
