Introduction About MEDOMOL DROPS
Medomol Drops is an analgesic and antipyretic used in children which helps to reduce the high temperature (fever) and provide relief from mild to moderate pain. It also relieves the symptoms of cold and flu. It contains paracetamol as active ingredient.
Paracetamol provides analgesic (reduce pain) and antipyretic (reduce fever) effect by blocking the effects of prostaglandin (substance produced during injury and inflammation causing pain and increases the body temperature) in the brain.
Always give Medomol Drops as advised by your physician. Shake well before each use. Use a measuring cup given with the package for correct dosing. Give 0.5 ml to infants ages 0 to 3 months, 1 ml to infants ages 4 to 11 months, 1.5 ml to infants ages 12 to 23 months, and 2 ml to infants ages 24 to 36 months. Medomol Drops should be administered 4 to 6 hourly or as directed by the physician. Inform your doctor if your child is suffering from liver or kidney disease before using it.
