INTRODUCTION ABOUT LYXUMIA 10MCG PEN INJECTION
LYXUMIA 10MCG PEN INJECTION contains Lixisenatide which belongs to the group of medicines called Antidiabetic agents. Diabetes mellitus is a chronic, metabolic disease characterized by elevated levels of blood glucose (or blood sugar), which leads over time to serious damage to the heart, blood vessels, eyes, kidneys, and nerves. Lixisenatide belongs to a class of medicines called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists. It helps your body release more insulin when your blood sugar level is high.
