LOROX P TABLET is a combination of Lornoxicam and Paracetamol which belongs to the group of medicines called Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and Analgesics and Antipyretics respectively. It is used to treat pain and inflammation in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis (chronic inflammatory condition of joints), ankylosing spondylitis (chronic inflammatory disease of the spine) and osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease).
Also, it is used to treat low back pain, post operative pain, acute sciatica (nerve pain from an injury or irritation to the sciatic nerve), muscle and musculoskeletal pain.
LOROX P TABLET is not recommended for use if you have gastrointestinal bleeding, ulceration of the stomach and salicylate sensitivity. Before taking LOROX P TABLET, inform your doctor if you have ulcerative colitis or crohn’s disease (intestinal disease), history of bleeding tendency or having systemic lupus erythematosus (rare immunological disorder).

LOROX P TABLET acts as an anti-inflammatory agent as well as painkiller. It works by inhibiting the production of a chemical called prostaglandins in the body which are responsible for causing pain and swelling in the body. As a result, it reduces various pain and swelling in joints.
Take LOROX P TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow LOROX P TABLET with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
Stop taking LOROX P TABLET and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
Drink lot of fluids such as water or fruit juices to keep yourself hydrated. Do not take any medicine on your own for treating diarrhoea. Consult your doctor if the symptom does not improve.
Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating oily, fried and spicy foods. Do not perform any strenuous activities immediately after eating. Consult your doctor if the symptom does not improve.
Try to rest and relax. Eat and drink slowly or try to have smaller and frequent meals. Keep a heating pad on your stomach. If the symptom does not improve, consult your doctor.
LOROX P TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant women. Consult your doctor before taking it.

LOROX P TABLET has no influence on the ability to drive or use machinery.
