LIVOGEN contains Ferrous fumarate and Folic acid. It is a nutritional supplement that helps in the treatment and prevention of anaemia caused by iron and folic acid deficiency.
Iron is an essential element for red blood cells production. About 70 percent of your body's iron is found in the red blood cells of your blood called hemoglobin and in muscle cells called myoglobin. Iron deficiency reduces oxygen transport to cells, causing weariness, poor work performance, and lowered immunity. Iron deficiency is the most common nutrient deficiency worldwide. It affects people of all ages, with children, pregnant or menstruating women, and dialysis patients being among the most vulnerable.
Adults require folic acid to form healthy red blood cells. Folic acid is required for a variety of bodily functions, including metabolism and DNA synthesis. It is also extremely critical during the fast cell division and growth processes.
LIVOGEN works by increasing the production of healthy red blood cells and fulfilling the body’s requirement for iron and folic acid.
