What is LEVROXA Syrup used for?

LEVROXA Syrup is used in the treatment of epilepsy. It is used to treat the following types of seizures:

  • Myoclonic seizures
  • Partial onset seizure
  • Refractory seizure disorders

LEVROXA Syrup may also be prescribed for other conditions as determined by the doctor.

How does LEVROXA Syrup work?

LEVROXA Syrup belongs to the class of drugs called anti-convulsants. It acts as a neuromodulator and works by binding to a synaptic vesicle glycoprotein. This inhibits pre-synaptic calcium channels and reduces the neurotransmitter release.
