Kojivit Gel is a depigmenting agent which is used to treat melasma (brown patchy discolouration of face), peri orbital melanosis (dark circles) and hyperpigmentation. It contains kojic acid dipalmitate, arbutin, mulberry extract, vitamin E acetate and octinoxate as active ingredients which helps in skin whitening.
Kojic acid and arbutin acts as depigmenting agent by inhibiting formation of melanin (brown pigment in skin). Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant which binds with harmful free radicals and protects skin cells from damage by destroying the free radicals. Octinoxate protects the skin from UV damage. Mulberry extract also acts as antioxidant which works by removing toxins, unclogging pores and moisturising the skin.
Always use Kojivit Gel as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only. Take pea size amount and apply thin layer of this gel on the affected area daily in morning or night or as directed by your doctor. Inform your doctor if you are suffering from impaired liver function, gall bladder disease before applying it. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding before applying this medicine as it is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women.
