What KEMLACTIN is used for?

It is used:

  • for loss of appetite, weight loss, anorexia nervosa, and as an adjunct to anti-tubercular and antiretroviral regimens for weight gain
  • in underweight children who have inadequate dietary intake or loss of appetite and children suffering from anemia, liver or digestive disorder

  • are allergic to any of the other ingredients of this medicine

  • Your doctor will prescribe the right dose for children based on their age and weight. Consult your doctor for advice

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

  • hypnotics, sedatives
  • tranquilizers

  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • Shake well before use

If you take more KEMLACTIN

  • If you take more of this medicine, tell your doctor or go to nearest hospital

If you forget to take KEMLACTIN

  • If you forget to take a dose, take it after food as soon as you remember, but if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue as usual
  •  Do not use a double dose to make up for a missed dose

If you stop taking KEMLACTIN

  • Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so
