What INTADINE is used for?

  • INTADINE is used as antiseptic for the treatment and prevention of infection in minor skin trauma including burns, cuts and other minor injuries

Talk to your doctor before using INTADINE, if you:

  • are allergic to povidone iodine or any of the other ingredients
  • have thyroid problem
  • have kidney problem
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before using this medicine
  • Not to be used in children under 2 years of age
  • INTADINE does not affect your ability to drive or use machines

Tell your doctor if you are taking:

  • lithium (for depression, mania and bipolar disorder)
  • Always apply this medicine as exactly as your doctor told you
  • The affected area should be cleaned and dried
  • Apply INTADINE over the affected area
  • For topical use on the skin only
Very Rare

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

  • irritation, swelling or redness
  • allergic-type reactions, including difficulty breathing or swallowing, a rash, swelling of the face, lips, throat or tongue
  • local irritation


  • itching and burns on your skin

  • Keep this medicine out of reach of children
  • Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
  • Store at room temperature (15-25ºC)
