    Introduction About FINTAL NASAL SPRAY

    FINTAL NASAL SPRAY contains Sodium cromoglycate which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-allergic agents. It is used to manage and relieve nasal symptoms of hay fever and other nasal allergies like runny, itchy or stuffy nose and sneezing.

    Before using FINTAL NASAL SPRAY, inform your doctor if you have any allergies, fever discoloured nasal discharge, sinus pain or wheezing. FINTAL NASAL SPRAY should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women.

    It should not be used in children (2 years or younger) unless specified by your doctor. The most common side effects of using FINTAL NASAL SPRAY are temporary cough and mild wheezing. If any of the symptoms get worse, contact your doctor for advice.

    • To manage and relieve nasal symptoms of hay fever and other nasal allergies like runny, itchy or stuffy nose and sneezing

    How FINTAL NASAL SPRAY Works

    FINTAL NASAL SPRAY works on certain cells in the body (mast cells) to manage them from releasing substances that cause allergic and inflammatory symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose and stuffy nose.

    How to use FINTAL NASAL SPRAY

    Use FINTAL NASAL SPRAY as advised by your physician. It is meant for intranasal use only. Spray once in each nostril. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

    Side Effects Of FINTAL NASAL SPRAY

    Common

    • temporary cough
    • mild wheezing

    Rare

    • anaphylactic reactions
    • severe constriction of airways
    • nasal congestion, sneezing
    • nausea

    Stop using FINTAL NASAL SPRAY and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:

    • breathlessness, wheezing or tight chest
    • hives, swollen mouth or throat
    • symptoms worsening, new symptoms
    • symptoms not showing improvement within two weeks
    • if you need to use for more than 12 weeks

    How To Manage Side Effects

    Nausea:

    Take regular sips of a cold drink. Have ginger or peppermint tea. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating oily or spicy foods. If symptom persists, contact your doctor.

    Pregnancy

    FINTAL NASAL SPRAY should be used with caution in women who are pregnant or planning for pregnancy. Consult your doctor before using it.

    Breastfeeding

    FINTAL NASAL SPRAY should be used with caution in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before using it.

    Allergy

    Do not use FINTAL NASAL SPRAY if you are allergic to Sodium cromoglycate or to any of the other components of this medicine.

    Others

    Before using FINTAL NASAL SPRAY, inform your doctor if you have:

    • fever
    • discoloured nasal discharge
    • sinus pain
    • wheezing

    Use in Paediatrics:

    FINTAL NASAL SPRAY is not recommended for use in children (2 years or younger) unless considered necessary. Consult your child’s doctor for advice.

    Interactions

    Before using FINTAL NASAL SPRAY, inform your doctor if you are taking, have taken or might take any other medicine, including prescription, non-prescription or any herbal medicine.

    Overdosage:

    If you or anyone else accidentally use too much of FINTAL NASAL SPRAY, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital.

    Brief stinging or sneezing may occur right after FINTAL NASAL SPRAY use. If you experience any other discomfort, contact your doctor at once to get relief from the discomfort.
