What is FIBROVAS Tablet used for?

FIBROVAS Tablet tablet/capsule is used for the treatment of mixed dyslipidaemia (elevated blood cholesterol levels).

FIBROVAS Tablet may also be prescribed for other conditions as determined by the doctor.

How does FIBROVAS Tablet work?

FIBROVAS Tablet belongs to the class of drugs called dyslipidaemic agents. It acts by lowering the levels of low-density lipoproteins and plasma triglycerides by inhibiting the synthesis of triglycerides. Thus, it helps in reducing the blood cholesterol levels in the body.

How to take FIBROVAS Tablet?

The dosage and the drug form depend on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Take FIBROVAS Tablet tablet/capsule as prescribed by your doctor.

Swallow the tablet/capsule whole. Do not crush or chew the tablet. Take FIBROVAS Tablet with or without food.

If you miss a dose of FIBROVAS Tablet, please take it immediately once you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
