INTRODUCTION

ECOBION BC SUSPENSION contains Bacillus clausii which belongs to the group of medicines called Probiotics. It important to have good balance of good bacteria in our body. Good bacteria helps to eliminate bad bacteria, to maintain balance. Probiotic supplements are an excellent way to add good bacteria to your body. ECOBION BC SUSPENSION is used to treat alterations in the intestinal bacterial flora, which can happen due to various conditions like chronic diarrhoea, infection in intestines, lowered immunity, chronic gastrointestinal disorders and antibiotic therapy.

Before taking ECOBION BC SUSPENSION, inform your doctor if you suffer with bacteremia, septicemia or sepsis in immunocompromised patients or hospitalized due to a serious illness and taking treatment with antibiotics.

ECOBION BC SUSPENSION should be used in pregnant and breast-feeding women only if clearly advised by the doctor. ECOBION BC SUSPENSION can be recommended in children only for shorter duration. Consult your child’s doctor to select an optimal dose for your child.

Inform your doctor if you experience any unusual side effects such as allergic reactions including rash, urticaria and angioedema (swelling underneath the skin) during treatment with this medicine.

HOW ECOBION BC SUSPENSION WORKS

ECOBION BC SUSPENSION contains Bacillus clausii spores cross the barrier of the acid gastric juices reaching the intestinal tract where they are transformed into metabolically active vegetative cells. It contributes to the recovery of the intestinal microbial flora. Furthermore, since the Bacillus clausii can produce various vitamins, in particular group B vitamins, it contributes to correcting the dysvitaminosis caused by antibiotics and chemotherapeutic agents.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Take ECOBION BC SUSPENSION as advised by your physician. Shake the bottle well before use. Take the contents directly or dilute in water or other drinks (like milk or beverages). Once open, the drug should be taken within a short time to avoid contaminating the suspension. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

 ECOBION BC SUSPENSION has no influence on the ability to drive and use machines.

ALLERGY

ECOBION BC SUSPENSION is not recommended for use if you are allergic to Bacillus clausii or other ingredients of this medicine.
