What is DISPRIN TABLET used for?
DISPRIN TABLET (Acetylsalicylic Acid) is used for the treatment of fever as well as inflammation and pain caused by various conditions such as arthritis, menstrual pain, headache, migraines, muscle pain, burns, toothache, and common cold. This medicine is also used to treat or prevent heart attacks and strokes. It works by interfering with the production of certain natural substances in the body that cause fever, inflammation, pain, and blood clots. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
How to take DISPRIN TABLET?
The dosage of DISPRIN TABLET prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.
DISPRIN TABLET should be taken with food.
If your physician has instructed or directed you to take DISPRIN TABLET medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.
