Hypertension (also known as high blood pressure) is a medical condition in which the force of the blood exerted against the walls of the arteries remains very high, and as a result it may lead to severe damage to the blood vessels supplying vital organs, such as heart, kidney or brain. If left untreated, it may cause serious complications such as heart attack, heart failure, stroke or even blindness.
By lowering blood pressure, CILNEP 10MG TABLET can also reduce the risk of angina (chest pain), heart attack (myocardial infarction) or stroke (sudden loss of blood supply).

CILNEP 10MG TABLET is a vasodilator. It works by blocking the entry of certain ions (calcium ions) within the blood vessels that causes narrowing. As a result, it relaxes the blood vessels and allows blood to flow more smoothly across the blood vessels with less pressure. It also improves blood flow and oxygen supply to the heart muscles which reduces the strain on the heart, improves heart functions and prevents the risks of heart attack or stroke.
