What CILACAR M 10/50MG is used for?

It is used to treat,

  • high blood pressure
  • angina pectoris (pain in the chest caused by blockages in the arteries to the heart)
  • irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia)

Talk to your doctor, before taking this medicine, if you:

  • are allergic to metoprolol, clinidipine, other beta-blockers or any other ingredients of this medicine
  • have severe aortic stenosis
  • have cardiogenic shock
  • have recent history of unstable angina or MI (Myocardial Infarction)
  • have heart failure and hypotension
  • suffer with rhythm problems or heart failure or shock caused by heart problems
  • suffer with blocked blood vessels, angina including blood circulation problems (which may cause your fingers blue)
  • suffer with untreated phaeochromocytoma (high blood pressure due to a tumour near the kidney)
  • suffer from increased acidity of the blood (metabolic acidosis)
  • have or have had breathing difficulties or asthma including COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
  • suffer with hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)
  • have kidney or liver disease
  • have difficulties in passing urine
  • have low levels of potassium (hypokalaemia) or sodium (hyponatraemia) in your blood
  • have high levels of calcium (hypercalcaemia)
  • suffer with gout due to high levels of uric acid (hyperuricaemia)
