Introduction About CERVCLEAR 200MG TABLET
CERVCLEAR 200MG TABLET contains Guaifenesin which belongs to the group of medicines called Expectorants. It helps loosen phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial secretions to rid the bronchial passageway of bothersome mucus and make coughs more productive.
Before taking CERVCLEAR 200MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you are suffering from cough accompanied by too much of phlegm or from long-lasting cough accompanied by either smoking, asthma, bronchitis or emphysema (shortness of breath).
CERVCLEAR 200MG TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women. It is not intended to be used in children below 12 years of age. Common side effects of taking CERVCLEAR 200MG TABLET involves nausea, vomiting, headache and skin rash. Consult your doctor if any of the symptoms are worsening.

How to use CERVCLEAR 200MG TABLET
Take CERVCLEAR 200MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

How To Manage Side Effects
Nausea and vomiting:
Avoid eating fried and greasy food. Take simple, light, small meals at frequent intervals. Keep yourself hydrated by drinking lots of fluids. Consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve.
Headache:
Drink plenty of fluids and stay hydrated. Get adequate rest and sleep. Try to be stress and tension free. Reduce the screen timings. Apply pain balm on forehead if needed. Consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve.

Pregnancy
CERVCLEAR 200MG TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant women or women planning to have a baby. Consult your doctor before taking CERVCLEAR 200MG TABLET.
Breastfeeding
CERVCLEAR 200MG TABLET should be used with caution in breast feeding mothers. Consult your doctor before taking.
Allergy
Do not take CERVCLEAR 200MG TABLET if you are allergic to Guaiphenesin or any other ingredients of this medicine.
Lungs
CERVCLEAR 200MG TABLET should be taken with caution in patients with cough accompanied by too much sputum like in asthma, bronchitis, bronchiectasis and emphysema (shortness of breath). Consult your doctor before taking it.
Others
Before taking CERVCLEAR 200MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you:
- have long lasting cough due to smoking
- have cough accompanied by too much phlegm (mucus)
Use in Paediatrics:
CERVCLEAR 200MG TABLET is not recommended to use in children below 12 years of age. Consult your doctor before taking.
