Celin 500 is a nutritional supplement used to prevent and treat Vitamin C deficiency if sufficient supply from the diet is not ensured, and to treat scurvy (disease caused by severe lack of vitamin C). It contains vitamin C as an active ingredient which plays an important role in a number of bodily functions.
Vitamin C is a water-soluble nutrient found in many food items. It is essential for bones and connective tissues, muscles, blood vessels, and it also helps the body absorb iron, which is required for red blood cell production.
Celin 500 is to be chewed before swallowing. Do not exceed the recommended dose. It is not recommended to be used in children (under 6 years of age). Consult your doctor before taking it during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Celin 500 should be given to elderly patients only after doctor’s advice as they are at a higher risk of developing kidney stones or other kidney problems.
What if I miss a dose of Celin 500?
If you miss to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, skip that dose if it's almost time for the next one. Do not take it two times to make up for the missed dose.
Can Celin 500 be taken daily?
Take Celin 500 as advised by your physician. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine daily. If you take this medicine for several days and there is no improvement in your condition or if your symptoms worsen, please contact your doctor.
