Introduction About CALBONA CAPSULE
Calbona Capsule is a nutritional supplement used to boost bone strength in patients with osteoporosis (weak and brittle bones). It contains Calcitriol, Calcium Carbonate, Folic Acid, Methylcobalamin, and Pyridoxine as active ingredients that help meet the nutritional requirements of the body.
Calcium carbonate increases the calcium deposition on the bones. Calcitriol is a synthetic form of Vitamin D that enhances the absorption of calcium in the body. Methylcobalamin helps in protein synthesis, production of blood cells and proper cell growth and development.
Folic Acid (folate or vitamin B9) helps in producing blood (haemoglobin) in the body. Vitamin B6 controls the metabolism of homocysteine (high levels of which reduces osteoblast activity and mineralization, leading to osteoporosis by reducing bone formation).
