BRUFEN JUNIOR ORAL 100MG contains Ibuprofen which belongs to the group of medicines called Non- steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is used to treat mild to moderate muscular pain, headache, earache, sore throat, dental pain and backache. This medicine can also be used in minor injuries such as sprains, strains and used to reduce temperature in fever (post-immunisation fever), as well as other symptoms of cold and influenza.
When your body is fighting an injury or infection, it naturally releases chemicals called prostaglandins which lead to fever, swelling and discomfort. BRUFEN JUNIOR ORAL 100MG blocks the effect of prostaglandins.
Before taking BRUFEN JUNIOR ORAL 100MG tell your doctor if you have liver, kidney or heart disease. Pregnant and breastfeeding should consult the doctor before taking the medicine. The common side effects are dizziness, tiredness, headache, diarrhea, constipation and flatulence. Avoid excessive use of painkillers, tell your doctor if you are already taking another painkiller before taking this medicine.
