What is Bisoprolol used for?
Bisoprolol is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It is in a class of medications called beta-blockers. This medicine is also used in the treatment of angina and congestive heart failure. By blocking the action of certain natural chemicals in your body, Bisoprolol lowers the heart rate, blood pressure, and strain on the heart. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
How to take Bisoprolol?
The dosage of Bisoprolol prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.
Bisoprolol can be taken with or without food.
