Introduction About BETADEK TABLET
Betadek Tablet is a nutritional supplement that restores the deficiencies of the micronutrients. It contains vitamin A, vitamin D3, vitamin E, vitamin K1, zinc and beta carotene as active ingredients to restore micronutrient deficiencies in certain chronic liver diseases.
Vitamin A plays a vital role in different physiological processes starting from cell proliferation and differentiation, immune regulation including glucose and lipid metabolism in the liver and adipose tissue. Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin with a vital role in the regulation of the metabolism of bone and calcium homeostasis. It also acts in hepatic fibrogenesis.
Vitamin E increases cell-mediated immunity, influences gene expression and controls enzymatic activity by inactivating protein kinase C (PKC) and smooth muscle growth. Vitamin K acts as a co-factor for the carboxylation of glutamate residues to gamma-carboxyglutamate in many proteins. Zinc helps in immune regulation, gene expression, wound healing, etc. Beta carotene is an anti-oxidant that decreases oxidative stress and increases GSH concentrations in erythrocytes and the liver.
Always take Betadek Tablet as advised by your doctor. Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water and do not crush or chew the medicine. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of its components.
