Introduction About BEPOZAL TABLET
BEPOZAL TABLET contains Bepotastine which belongs to the group of medicines called Antihistamines. It is indicated in the management of allergic rhinitis and urticaria.
Before taking BEPOZAL TABLET inform your doctor if you have any kidney diseases, are on long term steroid therapy, and seasonal allergic rhinitis.
BEPOZAL TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breast-feeding women. It is not intended for use children under 2 years of age.
The most common side effect of BEPOZAL TABLET is excessive sleep. Ask for your doctor’s advice if it doesn’t improve or worsens.

How BEPOZAL TABLET Works
BEPOZAL TABLET blocks a certain chemical called histamine which is responsible for the allergic reaction. It also supresses the movement of certain cells (eosinophils) into the inflamed (red, swollen) tissue to manage tissue damage and worsening of allergic inflammation.
How to use BEPOZAL TABLET
Take BEPOZAL TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

Pregnancy
BEPOZAL TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant women especially during the first three months of pregnancy. Consult your doctor before taking it.
Breastfeeding

Driving and Using Machines
Do not drive or operate any machines if you feel sleepy after taking BEPOZAL TABLET.
Alcohol
Avoid the use of alcohol while taking BEPOZAL TABLET. Consult your doctor before taking it.
Kidney
BEPOZAL TABLET should be used with caution in patients having kidney disease. Consult your doctor before taking it.
Allergy
Do not take BEPOZAL TABLET if you are allergic to Bepotastine or any other ingredients of this medicine.
Others
Before taking BEPOZAL TABLET, inform doctor if you:
- are on long term steroid therapy
- have seasonal allergic rhinitis
Use in pediatrics:
BEPOZAL TABLET is not recommended for use in children below 2 years of age. Consult your doctor before taking it.
Use in geriatrics:

Interactions
A. Drug - Drug Interactions:
Before taking BEPOZAL TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking, have taken, or might take any other medicine, including prescription, non-prescription or any herbal medicine.
Overdosage:
In case of overdosage or in case of accidental ingestion of BEPOZAL TABLET, consult your doctor or visit nearby hospital immediately.
