Introduction About ARVAST CF 10MG CAPSULE
ARVAST CF 10MG CAPSULE is a combination of Rosuvastatin and Fenofibric acid which belongs to the group of medicines called Hypolipidemic drugs. It is used to manage hyperlipidemia (high blood lipid levels) in addition to proper diet, exercise and lifestyle changes.
Hyperlipidemia is a condition characterized by increased levels of bad cholesterol and triglycerides (fats) in the blood. If left unmanageed, these fat particles get deposited in the blood vessels and may obstruct blood flow through them, leading to various complications such as heart attack or stroke.
By reducing lipid levels in the blood, ARVAST CF 10MG CAPSULE can also be used to manage the risk of heart attack, stroke, atherosclerosis and other circulatory disorders.
Take ARVAST CF 10MG CAPSULE with meals. Along with the management, follow the diet, exercise and lifestyle changes instructed by your doctor to achieve better results. Avoid drinking a large amount of alcohol while taking ARVAST CF 10MG CAPSULE. If you are diabetic, work on your blood sugar levels and keep them under control.
Before taking ARVAST CF 10MG CAPSULE inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have thyroid problems, diabetes, high blood pressure or a family history of muscle disorders.
ARVAST CF 10MG CAPSULE is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver or kidney problems. It is also not suitable for use in patients with severe repetitive unexplained muscle pains or in patients who had recently taken an antibiotic called Fusidic acid to manage bacterial infections.
Do not take ARVAST CF 10MG CAPSULE if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Women of childbearing potential must use a suitable contraceptive method to avoid pregnancy while undergoing therapy with ARVAST CF 10MG CAPSULE. If you accidentally become pregnant while taking ARVAST CF 10MG CAPSULE, stop taking this medicine and consult your doctor immediately.
During management with ARVAST CF 10MG CAPSULE, your doctor will periodically monitor your liver functions, kidney functions, blood sugar levels, muscle functions and blood cholesterol levels to avoid the risk of unwanted side effects.
The most common side effects of taking ARVAST CF 10MG CAPSULE are headache, constipation, bloating, muscle pain and liver problems. Consult your doctor if they bother you.
You must also inform your doctor if you experience severe unexplained muscle pain or weakness with fever, weakness or reddish-brown urine after taking ARVAST CF 10MG CAPSULE.

It is used to:
- Manage high blood cholesterol levels

How ARVAST CF 10MG CAPSULE Works
ARVAST CF 10MG CAPSULE is a lipid-lowering medicine. It reduces the levels of bad cholesterol (VLDL and LDL) and triglycerides in the body by modulating the actions of certain enzymes that are involved in lipid metabolism (such as HMG-CoA reductase, PPAR-alpha and lipoprotein lipase). Additionally, it can also reduce the amount of cholesterol absorbed in the body.
By lowering the blood lipid levels, ARVAST CF 10MG CAPSULE manages fat deposition within the blood vessels and reduces the chances of heart attack, stroke, atherosclerosis or other circulatory problems.
