What ANZYME is used for?

  • ANZYME is used for digestive disorders, starch degrading enzyme, digestive disorder, flatulence, distension and other conditions

Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:

  • are allergic to fungal diastase and pepsin or any other ingredient in this medicine
  • have crohn's disease
  • have formation of fibrous tissue in the colon
  • have gout
  • have high amount of uric acid in the blood
  • have inadequate absorption of nutrients due to short bowel
  • have intestinal obstruction in the fetus or newborn
  • have stomach or intestinal tract operation
  • have stomach or intestine blockage
  • Consult your doctor in case of pregnancy or breastfeeding Pregnant, planning to get pregnant or breastfeeding. Pregnant women and breast feeding should avoid taking ANZYME
  • For children, the dose should be half of the adult’s dose
  • Consult your doctor for advice

Tell your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken any of the following

  • metronidazole and other drugs that belong to the same class
  • vitamins and nutritional supplement
  • gastric juice since some of the enzymes/digestive substances in gastric acid may degrade ANZYME
  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • It is important to shake the bottle for at least 10 seconds before use
  • Always use the spoon supplied with the pack
  • Do not overfill the spoon

If you take more ANZYME

  • If you take more of ANZYME consult your doctor immediately

If you forget to take ANZYME

  • If a dose is missed, do not take a double dose; just carry on with the next recommended dose when it is due

If you stop taking ANZYME

  • Talk to your doctor before stopping to take ANZYME
