It acts by increasing the levels of certain chemicals (serotonin and norepinephrine) within the brain that elevates your mood and stabilizes mental health. As a result, it makes you feel active and energetic.

Take VENDEP D 50MG TABLET 10'S as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not cursh or chew the medicine.

- worsening of hypertension (high blood pressure)
- increased signs of bleeding or bruising
- problems in vision (such as blurred vision, eye swelling or pain, seeing halos around lights and glaucoma)
- fits (seizures)
- low blood sodium levels (causing headache, nausea, difficulty in concentration, memory impairment, confusion, feeling weak or unsteady, hallucinations, fainting or seizures)
- troubled breathing, chest pain or coughing
- worsening of depression, suicidal thoughts or behavior
- behavioural changes (such as anxiety, panic attacks, difficulty in sleeping, irritability, restlessness)
- severe upper abdominal pain, swollen and tender abdomen, fever

Constipation

- other medicines used to manage depression such as monoamine oxidase inhibitors (Ex. moclobemide, isocarboxazid, phenelzine and tranylcypromine), tricyclic antidepressants (Ex. amitriptyline, nortriptyline), lithium, fluoxetine, sertraline, citalopram, escitalopram etc.
- linezolid (an antibiotic used to manage bacterial infection)
- intravenous methylene blue (used to manage abnormal methemoglobin levels in blood)
- medicines used to manage migraine headaches (such as sumatriptan, zolmitriptan)
- fentanyl (an opioid analgesic used for pain relief)
- tramadol (used for pain relief)
- tryptophan (an aminoacid used for maintaing mental health)
- buspirone (a medicine used to reduce anxiety)
- amphetamines (used as CNS stimulants) Ex. dexamphetamine and lisdexamphetamine
