Mirabegron is used in the treatment of managing the symptoms of overactive bladder (OAB) in adults such as an uncontrollable, sudden urge to urinate (urgency), feeling to pass urine many times during the day and night (increased urinary frequency) and the experience of unintentional loss of urine (urgency incontinence).

Mirabegron works by relaxing the muscles around your bladder during the storage phase of the urinary bladder fill-void cycle, which increases the bladder's capacity to hold more urine, thereby reducing the feeling of urgency and the need to urinate frequently.

- signs of urinary tract infections (persistent urge to urinate, burning sensation when urinating, blood in urine, cloudy appearance of urine, pain in lower abdomen)
