Q: Why have I not received a response from the doctor?

A: Sometimes, the doctor may be held up due to medical emergencies. Kindly allow some time for the doctor to respond to your messages.
If you have waited for more than 30 minutes and are yet to receive a response, kindly drop us an email at doctors@netmeds.com. We can get in touch with the doctor and expedite the process. Q: I can't find the chat window.

A: All your chat consultations can be found in the “Ongoing Chats” menu. This can also be directly accessed. [Click Here](Click Here).

Q: I'm not able to send chat messages.

A: For the chat consultation to happen, you will have to have stable internet connectivity. If the internet connection is not available, then the message wouldn’t have been sent. Please check your connectivity and try sending the message again.
In case your internet connectivity is fine and you are still facing an issue, kindly drop us an email at doctors@netmeds.com.

Q: How do I share an image or report to the doctor over chat?

A: You will be given an option to attach files before you send the consultation request to the doctor.
In case you were not able to share the attachment at that time, you can attach files by visiting the “Ongoing Chats” screen by clicking on the “Attach” icon. In case you face any difficulty in attaching the files, you can email them to doctors@netmeds.com from your registered email id. These files will then be viewed by the doctor.

Q: Where can I find my conversation with the doctor?

A: All your chat transcripts can be found in the “Ongoing Chat” menu. It can also be directly accessed. Click Here.

Q: I need a follow up consultation with the doctor over chat.

A: Your chat consultation is valid for 48 hours from the time the doctor first responds.
In case you wish to continue your chat with the doctor, you can either renew the same chat by visiting the “Ongoing Chat” screen or by creating a new consultation from the home page.
In case you require further assistance, kindly drop us an email at doctors@netmeds.com.

Q: Will I get a prescription over chat?

A: Our doctors might suggest your medication & diagnostic tests based on your medical condition over chat. But our doctor would not be able to provide a prescription over the chat consultation. The chat consultation is generally used by patients to get medical advice.

Q: It's been over an an hour since I have raised a consultation request but I'm still to receive a call.

A: We understand how disappointing this is and we assure that this is not the experience that we would like you to have. In all likeliness, our executives would already be looking into your case and doing the needful.
But, kindly drop an email to doctors@netmeds.com so that we can update you on the status and expedite the consultation.

Q: l missed the consultation call from the doctor.

A: Our doctors usually try calling you once again in the next 10-15 minutes. Please be sure to answer it this time.
In case you missed the second time or if you did not receive another call, kindly drop us an email at doctors@netmeds.com so that we can expedite your consultation.

Q: The call was not clear while consulting with the doctor.

A: Please make sure that you are in an area with good connectivity and minimal disturbance.
If you feel that your network is fine and that something is wrong with the call at the doctor’s end, kindly drop us email at doctors@netmeds.com so that we can help you.

Q: I want a follow-up consultation with the doctor over call.

A: For all specializations except Psychology, Radiology and Nutrition, we provide one free follow-up that can be availed within the next 7 days.
You can Click Here to send a follow-up request to the same doctor who consulted you.

Q: I'm in need of a prescription over call.

A: You will receive a downloadable prescription in the email that you have used to register with Netmeds. In case you have not received an email, kindly drop an email at doctors@netmeds.com so that we can forward it to you.

Q: Is my prescription valid?

A: Yes, your prescription is valid as they are issued by MCI certified doctors associated with our platform.

Q: I want to consult again with the same doctor.

A: The list of all the doctors with whom you have consulted can be found in the “Consulted Doctor” menu. This can also be directly accessed. Click Here.

You can consult with the doctor again from this page.

Q: I'm not satisfied with the consultation & require a refund.

A: We are extremely sorry that we were unable to solve your problem.
Please drop us an email at doctors@netmeds.com along with the reason for your dissatisfaction and your feedback.
We will first try to rectify the problem. If you are still not satisfied, we will refund the money.

Q: How do can I request for a new consultation?

A: To consult with a doctor, please go to click here and register your details to start the consultation with a doctor. You can choose a mode of consultation and then attach all medical records and any other details that you might want to add.

Q: I need multiple follow up consultations.

A: In order to schedule a follow up, please login to your account and visit Click Here to send another consultation request. Please be detailed in your query and attach all your recent medical reports so that the doctor can give you a diagnosis taking in to account your last consultation.
