Q: Are there any shipping charges for orders?

A: Following are Netmeds.com delivery charges, which are based on the order value.

Q: Can I get a different dosage other than what is mentioned in the prescription?

A: You can buy a lesser dosage than what is prescribed, but not a higher dosage.

Q: Can I get medicines delivered in emergency situations?

A: No, we do not provide delivery in emergency situations.

Q: What is a valid prescription?

A: A valid prescription has the following information:

  • Date
  • Doctor’s name and registration number with seal & signature
  • Patient’s name and age
  • List of medicines with quantity & duration
Q: Can I buy a substitute medicine on my prescription?

A: If your prescription contains the phrase “Allow substitution”, or mentions the name of the molecule, you will be able to purchase generic subsitutes for the brand from us.

Q: What is your standard delivery time?

A: We generally deliver orders within 1-7 working days depending on your address. You will receive an estimated delivery date once the order is confirmed.

Q: Why did I not receive my OTP on SMS?

A: Please check your network connection. It can take 1-2 minutes to receive an SMS. If you still haven’t received it, please try the “Resend OTP” option.

Q: How do I stop receiving promotional communications?

A: Please reach out to us at cs@netmeds.com with your request. We will unsubscribe you from our mailing list and confirm the action within 5 working days.

Q: How can I change the email address linked to my account?

A: You can modify your email ID from the “Account” module. You need to verify your updated email ID.

Q: What are OTC products?

A: OTC or Over The Counter products are products for which you do not require a prescription.

Q: Can voucher codes be combined with promo codes?

A: Some vouchers can be combined with other promo codes. Read the terms of your voucher offer carefully and it will explain if it can be clubbed with other offers.

Q: Can vouchers be used to purchase OTC products?

A: Vouchers can only be used to purchase prescription medication.

Q: Can the expiry dates of medication be known before completing the order?

A: You will be able to check the medication’s expiry date before placing the order. Just select the product and type your pincode.

Q: For what purpose is my mobile number used?

A: Your phone number is the channel used for logging into Netmeds. It helps us to verify your account. We also use it to keep you posted on the progress of your order by SMS, and to let you know all the deals and discounts that we offer.

Q: Is it possible to deactivate my account?

A: If you wish to deactivate your account, kindly mail us at cs@netmeds.com.

Q: How do I apply for career oppurtunities in Netmeds.com?

A: You can look up exciting job opportunities with Netmeds at the “Careers” section which is placed at the bottom of every page on our website.

Q: Is the signature of the registered customer mandatory to receive the product(s)?

A: Your family members or the security personnel at your building can receive the product(s) on your behalf.

Q: Why is the discount not getting applied to my order?

A: Discounts are not applicable for OTC, non-prescription items and baby products.

Q: Can I open the package and see the items before accepting it from the delivery person?

A: No, you may not open the parcel and then accept the order. If you are unhappy with your order, you can raise a return request.

Q: Why have I not received cashback for my order?

A: Cashback is applicable only for prepaid orders. Alternately, your order amount may not be high enough to be eligible for cashback.
