- Management of fungal skin infections
How ZYKT CREAM Works
ZYKT CREAM contains Ketoconazole which works by stopping the growth of fungi. It blocks the production of a substance called ergosterol, which is essential for the fungi's cell membrane. Without ergosterol, the cell membrane becomes weak, causing the fungi to die and the infection to clear up.
How to use ZYKT CREAM
Apply ZYKT CREAM as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Wash the infected area and dry it well. Apply it to the affected and immediate surrounding area with clean fingers. Unless the affected skin is on your hands, wash your hands with soap and water after using ZYKT CREAM in order to stop you from spreading the infection to other parts of your body or to other people.
Keep using ZYKT CREAM until a few days after all symptoms have completely disappeared. This is to manage your symptoms from recurring.
Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Usually, you will see improvement after 4 weeks but if you don’t, talk to your doctor.
