Introduction About TRIMOP FORTE TABLET
TRIMOP FORTE TABLET contains Trioxsalen which belongs to the group of medicines called Antipsoriatic agents. It is used in the management of vitiligo and psoriasis along with UV light.
Vitiligo is a pigmentation disorder of the skin that causes loss of skin colour in patches. Psoriasis is a skin condition that causes rashes with itchy, scaly spots on the knees, elbows, trunk, and scalp.
Your doctor may recommend you take relevant tests to understand your existing condition. After taking the medicine avoid exposure to the sun even through a window or glass for at least 8 hours.
Before taking TRIMOP FORTE TABLET inform your doctor if you have or had an allergic reaction to sunlight, porphyria, heart or blood vessel disease, eye problems (cataract), infections, stomach pain, skin cancer or melanoma, and lupus erythematosus.
TRIMOP FORTE TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant women. The safety and effectiveness of this medicine in breastfeeding women have not been established yet.
The safety and effectiveness of TRIMOP FORTE TABLET in elderly patients had not been established yet. The most common side effects of taking TRIMOP FORTE TABLET are itching, irritation and nausea. Consult your doctor immediately or visit a nearby hospital if any of the symptoms worsen.

How TRIMOP FORTE TABLET Works
TRIMOP FORTE TABLET works by activating certain skin cells (melanocytes) and helps repigment the discolored, white patches in vitiligo. It also slows down the rapid growth of skin cells in psoriasis. This reduces scaling and thickening of the skin.
How to use TRIMOP FORTE TABLET
Always take TRIMOP FORTE TABLET as directed by your physician. Swallow the medicine as a whole and do not crush or chew the medicine. Cover your skin for at least 8 hours by wearing protective clothing, use a sunblock product that has a skin protection factor on your lips and on those areas of your body that cannot be covered. Your doctor will decide the correct dose, duration and frequency for you depending on your age, body weight and health condition.

Nausea:

Breastfeeding
The safety and effectiveness of TRIMOP FORTE TABLET in breastfeeding women have not been established yet. It will be given to you by the doctor after weighing the benefits and risk ratio.

Allergy
Do not take TRIMOP FORTE TABLET if you are allergic to Trioxsalen or any other ingredients of this medicine.

Heart Disease
